TERRESTRIAL PARADISE

The phoenix is a mythical bird that is said to live for centuries before being consumed by fire and then reborn from its own ashes. It is a powerful symbol of rebirth, renewal, and immortality in many cultures and mythologies. Encouraging hope and resilience, reminding us that even in the face of destruction and devastation, there is always the possibility of new beginnings and a brighter future.

THE HERO'S JOURNEY

The hero's journey is a narrative pattern or structure that appears in many myths, stories, and legends from different cultures around the world. It was first described by Joseph Campbell, a mythologist and scholar of comparative religion, in his book "The Hero with a Thousand Faces."

The hero's journey typically involves a protagonist who embarks on a journey or adventure, faces a series of challenges and obstacles, undergoes a transformation or personal growth, and ultimately achieves a goal or returns to their community with a new understanding or perspective.

The Call to Adventure

The hero is presented with a challenge or opportunity that requires them to leave their ordinary world and embark on a journey.

Refusal of the Call

The hero may initially resist or refuse the call, due to fear, doubt, or other factors.

Meeting the Mentor

The hero encounters a mentor or guide who provides them with advice, training, or assistance.

Crossing the Threshold

The hero leaves their ordinary world and enters a new, unknown realm or dimension.

Tests, Allies and Enemies

The hero faces a series of challenges and obstacles, and encounters allies and enemies along the way.

Approach to the Inmost Cave:

The hero approaches the most difficult or dangerous challenge of their journey.

Ordeal

The hero faces a major challenge or crisis, and may be forced to confront their deepest fears or weaknesses.

Reward

The hero overcomes the ordeal and achieves their goal or receives a reward.

The Road Back

The hero begins the journey back to their ordinary world, but may face additional challenges or obstacles.

Resurrection

The hero faces one final challenge or crisis, and must use their newfound knowledge or abilities to overcome it.

Return with the Elixir

The hero returns to their ordinary world with a new understanding or perspective, and may use their growth to benefit their community.
